With over £5200 Raised in support of Local Charities, Ravenshead and Blidworth Rotary's Santa collection is already being used to support local charities, Schools and Support Groups.
Sums of almost £600 have been passed on to Blidworth on the Move and The Blidworth Arts Group. A similar amount has also been passed onto Ravenshead Inner Wheel, which will help them with their support for local Charities. Additionally, almost £400 has been donated to The John Eastwood Hospice and other donations made to Ravenshead Church of England School PTA Group, and one of our principle Charities this year, Maggies.
Each of these amounts has been allocated as a result of help given by our non-Rotarian Supporters who made it possible for Santa to make all his trips around the Villages this year.
The balance of the over £5200 collected, will be donated throughout the year and we will update you monthly on such donations.
