The Rotary Club through with help of recent club fundraising events, has been able to make a donation to the Ravenshead Community Transport.
We had a letter of appreciation;
On behalf of all the Trustees and volunteers involved with RCT I would like to thank Rotary for their very kind donation of £400. Our community transport is an absolute life line to so many local residents and we very much appreciate your continued support.
A few statistics for you - our last financial year (Oct 24-Sept 25) we travelled 41,008 miles, operated 2,578 journeys with 18,967 passenger boardings. A remarkable achievement with just 3 vehicles. We currently have approximately 36 trained volunteer drivers sometimes using 18 of these to operate our varied services in just one week!
