Each Rotary President has the privilege of selecting one or more Charities for which they will, over the period of their office, raise funds. I have had the privilege of serving over the last two years and much of our fund raising over that period has been focused on my two nominated charities of Maggie’s and The Nottinghamshire Hospice.
On the 15th July, outside The Nottinghamshire Hospice charity shop in Blidworth I was able to present a cheque for £1000 to Becky Sills, their Community Fundraiser.
Becky is seen here receiving the cheque and thanking myself and David Lewis for our continued support. We know the work they do must be of great comfort to those locally who find themselves with the need to ask for their services and support.
